Warm as a leather armchair that has been sat in for years. The Tapison Home Torino 063.0078.7279 is a cognac brown rug where caramel and ochre yarns glow through darker chocolate tones, with a touch of grey that keeps the colour grounded.
In the evening it really comes into its own. Under a floor lamp or beside a fire the lighter yarns catch the light and the whole rug seems to deepen. Daylight makes it more golden and relaxed.
Style it with what suits cognac best: dark green velvet, cream bouclé, black metal, smoked glass, or the classic seventies combination of walnut and mustard. It also works well in a study or a dining room with a dark wooden table.
The low pile is soft and dense, with fine lines that run the length of the rug, and a taupe bound edge to finish. Machine woven in Belgium from polyester, it keeps its colour and needs only regular vacuuming.
