Earth Bamboo Mustard Yellow is a mustard yellow wool and bamboo silk rug with real presence: a deep, golden ochre that glows rather than shouts. The tones vary softly across the short pile, and in the evening, under a warm lamp, the bamboo silk turns the surface almost amber.
Here the rug is the starting point of the room. It brings sunshine to a living room with mid century furniture in teak, a velvet sofa in bottle green or petrol and a few black accents. It works just as well in a study or a reading corner where you want warmth and energy at the same time. Available in 170 x 240 cm and 200 x 300 cm.
Wool from New Zealand and bamboo silk, 50% each, are handwoven together in India: the wool for volume, the bamboo silk for the glow. The rug may be used with underfloor heating. Slight irregularities in measurement and shade come with the handmade process. Keep it out of the wet, dab spills immediately, vacuum it without a brush roll and leave thorough cleaning to a professional.
