Rya Charcoal is a charcoal high pile wool rug so deep in colour that it borders on black. The long, loose strands fall in different directions and catch the light at their tips, which gives the dark surface a soft, velvety glow. Sink your fingers into it and it feels generous and warm.
This rug has presence. It works as the confident centrepiece of a living room with pale walls, or deepens the mood of a dark painted den with a leather armchair and low lighting. In a bedroom it looks striking against white bed linen and light oak. Choose 140 x 200 cm, 170 x 240 cm or 200 x 300 cm.
Rya is handwoven in India from 100% New Zealand wool, following the Scandinavian rya tradition of a long, shaggy pile. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Handwork always brings small variations in size and shade. Shake the rug out now and then or vacuum it on a low setting without a brush; loose fibres in the first weeks are completely normal.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
Return costs within the EU
– Up to 250 cm wide: Free
– 251 cm and above: €75

– We cannot organise the return
– Customer arranges transport
