Escape Kelim Chalk is a light grey wool kilim reduced to its essence. Space Copenhagen designed it for Massimo Copenhagen: no pattern and no pile, just a pale chalk tone with a soft grey undertone, and a narrow band in a contrasting shade that finishes both short ends. The flat weave has a fine, lively texture that you only notice up close.
This is a rug for rooms that rely on light and good materials rather than decoration. It sits beautifully under a long oak dining table, with linen curtains and a few pieces of ceramics, and it keeps a Scandinavian living room calm without making it cold. The runner of 90 x 250 cm brings the same quiet into a hallway or along a kitchen island.
Escape Kelim is handwoven in India as a flatweave, from 100% undyed New Zealand wool that keeps its natural colour. Because it is flat and tight, chairs slide over it easily, and it is suitable for underfloor heating. Small variations in size and shade belong to handwork. Vacuum regularly without a rotating brush and blot spills at once with a clean, dry cloth.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.

– 251 cm and above: €75
