Plaid Haze is the whispered version of the Collina Strada runway plaid. Sand, oat and cream are carved into the wool at different heights, so the check appears in relief rather than in colour: soft, sketchy and almost dreamlike, like a plaid seen through a linen curtain.

Because it stays so calm, Plaid Haze fits in almost anywhere, from a bedroom with pale linen to a living room with natural wood and a bouclé sofa. It brings texture and a touch of humour without stealing the show. 200 x 300 cm suits a sofa with two armchairs, 300 x 400 cm a large open living space.

Hand tufted in Bhadohi, India, from 100% wool. The pile varies between 12 and 17 mm and the edges are carved by hand, so every rug has the lively, slightly imperfect line of a fashion sketch. Suitable for underfloor heating. Handwork means small variations in size and tone. New wool sheds a little at first, which fades over time. Vacuum without a brush and treat stains with lukewarm water and a little soap, then absorb the moisture with a dry microfibre cloth. For a deep clean, choose professional flat washing.
