Garden Haze takes its pattern from the floor of the Collina Strada flagship store in New York. Soft flowers and leaves are carved into a sand and cream ground, and at one corner the blooms simply grow out of the rectangle, giving the rug its playful, organic outline.

Tone on tone and full of texture, it is the kind of rug you notice the second time you look. Let the flowered corner peek out from under a sofa or a bed, and pair it with linen, pale wood and plenty of daylight. The organic edge comes with every size, from 180 x 270 cm for a bedroom to 300 x 400 cm for a large living room.

Hand tufted in Bhadohi, India, from 100% wool. The pile varies between 12 and 17 mm and the edges are carved by hand, so every rug has the lively, slightly imperfect line of a fashion sketch. Suitable for underfloor heating. Handwork means small variations in size and tone. New wool sheds a little at first, which fades over time. Vacuum without a brush and treat stains with lukewarm water and a little soap, then absorb the moisture with a dry microfibre cloth. For a deep clean, choose professional flat washing.
