Watch Senso Level Natural at different hours and it never looks quite the same. The colour is a warm sand beige with an oatmeal mélange, flecked here and there with a lighter ivory thread. Across that calm surface runs a single raised line in the same wool: a wide frame along the edges and a second, smaller rectangle set low inside it, stepping just past the bottom line. In low morning light the relief casts a fine shadow, by noon it almost disappears.

It is a lovely rug for a bedroom. Slide it under the bed so that a generous strip shows on both sides, and pair it with washed linen bedding, a wool throw at the foot end and furniture in pale oak or ash. On a light wooden or poured floor the beige reads as one soft, continuous layer, which is exactly what a restful room needs. Wardrobe and bedroom doors open over it without catching, because the weave is so thin.

Brink & Campman has Senso Level flatwoven by hand in India from 100% pure new wool. The rug is about 6 mm thin and has no backing, so on smooth floors we advise a non slip underlay. You can lay it on underfloor heating without worry. Vacuum with a smooth nozzle, without a rotating brush, and blot spills at once with a clean dry cloth.
