As the official flagship store for Brink & Campman in Belgium and the Benelux and an authorised Perletta partner, we carry the complete made-to-measure range of both brands in our showroom in Willebroek, where constructions can be seen and felt at full scale before any commitment is made. A custom size rug is a significant purchase and the right guidance before ordering makes the difference between a result that fits the room precisely and one that does not.

How to Approach a Custom Order

The starting point is always your confirmed room measurements, not an estimate. Measure the floor, decide on the placement, mark the intended rug footprint with tape, and live with it for a day before ordering. The relationship between a rug and its room is one of proportion, and proportion only becomes clear at 1:1 scale. Custom pieces are produced and finished to order and are not returnable once made. We recommend visiting the showroom or contacting us before placing any custom order: our team advises on sizing, helps narrow down construction and colour, and confirms availability in the specific format you need.

Perletta: Made to Measure as Standard

Perletta is the most complete made-to-measure offering in the collection. Every Perletta rug is produced to order: there are no stock sizes and no standard dimensions. The full range of handwoven and hand-tufted constructions in New Zealand wool is available in any width up to 400 cm and any length without limit, in any of the 40-plus colours across the palette. Round, oval and irregular shapes are also available on request. The lead time is approximately four to six weeks from order confirmation. A sample service is available: physical swatches of colour and construction can be ordered before any commitment is made, which is strongly recommended for colour accuracy. The complete Perletta collection is on display in our Willebroek showroom, where every construction can be compared side by side under natural and artificial light.

Brink & Campman and Licensed Collections

Brink & Campman offers custom sizing across a number of its own collections, including Decor, Element, Rocks and Pop Art, as well as across the licensed design collections it produces: Marimekko, Morris & Co, Sanderson, Harlequin and others. Availability varies by collection and colourway. As the official Brink & Campman flagship for Belgium and the Benelux, we can confirm availability and advise on custom dimensions across the full range. Acsento: Made in Belgium, Fast Turnaround

Acsento is a Belgian brand that produces a significant part of its collection in Belgium, which translates into shorter lead times for custom orders than most other made-to-measure rug brands. Collections including Grunge, Nuance and Chiara are available in custom dimensions. Belgian production means that adjustments, queries and order confirmations can be handled quickly and locally. Mart Visser offers custom sizing across selected collections. For rooms where a precise footprint matters and a standard format is not available, contact us to confirm which collections and colourways can be produced to order and what lead times apply.

When a Custom Size Makes the Difference

For living rooms and bedrooms, the two most common reasons for a custom order are a room width that falls between standard formats, where a 200 by 300 cm is too small and the next standard size would leave insufficient floor border, and a corner sofa configuration whose footprint requires a non-standard proportion. For large rooms, custom ordering removes the constraint of adapting a furniture arrangement to available stock and allows the rug to be sized precisely for the room.
