Polar 491 Lavender is a soft, cool purple, like lilac blossom on a cloudy May morning. In a guest room it feels fresh beside a bed in natural oak and curtains in pale grey linen.
Polar combines a fine wool yarn with threads of sisal, woven on a black warp. The mix gives the surface a lively, lightly flecked look and a crisp character, a little bolder than a plain flat weave.
Perletta handweaves every Polar rug in Morocco from New Zealand wool and sisal. It is about 1 cm thick, so it lies flat and suits underfloor heating. Turn it once a year and it wears evenly.
Polar 491 Lavender is made to measure, up to 400 cm wide and in any length. The lead time is about 6 to 8 weeks and delivery is free. For advice on size or colour, you are welcome in our showroom in Willebroek.
