Knot 491 Lavender is a soft, cool purple with more weight than its name suggests, like the hills of Haute Provence seen through the summer haze. In a bedroom it pairs well with a bed in smoked oak and curtains in heavy stone linen.
Knot is coarse and bold. Thick wool is woven into a pronounced, knotted structure that you see and feel with every step. It gives a room real presence and character, even in the quietest colour.
Perletta handweaves every Knot rug in Morocco from New Zealand wool. At about 2.5 cm thick and 3.2 kg per m², it feels heavy and generous underfoot and stays firmly in place. Turn it once a year and it wears evenly.
