Morris & Co Lent Lily Plum Bayleaf looks like a page from a botanical sketchbook. On a ground of warm cream, tulips in plum and raspberry open between broad acanthus leaves in bay green and slate blue, and a carpet of small pink wild daffodils fills every gap.
The drawing goes back to a watercolour kept at The Huntington, and its loose, hand drawn line is what makes the rug so easy to live with. The light ground keeps a room bright, so it suits a sunny living room with white woodwork and a sofa in grey or oatmeal. Add a bunch of real tulips in spring and the effect is complete.
This rug is tufted by hand in India, in 100% pure new wool with a pile of 17 mm, and finished with a cotton and latex backing. Custom sizes are possible if the standard ones do not fit your room, and underfloor heating is no obstacle. Expect a little fluff at the start, which is normal for new wool and disappears with regular vacuuming on a gentle setting. Lift spills quickly with kitchen paper or a clean cloth.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
