Ridge behind ridge, fading into the distance: Harlequin Sedimentary Midnight is a mountain range at dusk. The colour deepens from misty grey and sand at the top, through slate and petrol blue, to an inky midnight at the bottom, each layer with its own soft, uneven horizon.
Because the design runs from light to dark, the rug has a direction, and you can use it. Place the dark end under the sofa to anchor it, or towards the door to draw the eye into the room. Copper, pale timber and concrete suit it, and so does a single armchair with a view.
The rug is hand tufted in India in 100% pure new wool, with a plush 17 mm pile on a backing of cotton and latex. It can be used with underfloor heating and made to your own measurements, and two runner sizes complete the range. Small variations in size and shade are inherent in handwork. Deep colours show lint, so vacuum often in the first weeks, without a brush, and blot spills right away.
You can see and feel our rugs in our rug shop and showroom in Willebroek, in the Antwerp region, easily accessible from Antwerp, Brussels, Mechelen and Sint-Niklaas. Delivery is free across Europe and you have 30 days to return.
