From dark chocolate through burnt sienna to soft terracotta: Acsento Delos Rust reads like layers of earth. The three tones are set as interlocking fields, separated by raised bands of wool that give the rug depth and a handmade edge.
It is made for modern rooms that need warmth. Polished concrete, big windows and a grey sofa are exactly the setting in which these rust tones come alive. Add a woollen throw in camel and a low wooden table, and the room is finished.
The wool pile is 18 to 23 mm high and tufted by hand in India, then finished with a cotton backing. As with every handmade rug, size and shade can differ slightly from piece to piece. In the beginning the wool will release some fluff. Vacuum gently and it soon settles. Treat spills by blotting with a clean cloth, never by rubbing.
