Three shades of beige, from deep taupe to pale sand, fit inside one another like the plan of a house. In Acsento Delos Beige each field is outlined by a double raised border, so the rug has real relief: you see the lines, and you feel them under your feet.
It is tone on tone at its most refined, and it asks for the same restraint around it. Bouclé, travertine, plaster and pale oak all sit beautifully with it. Place a single armchair on one corner and let the frames run out from under it.
Delos is hand tufted in India from wool on a cotton backing, with a dense pile of 18 to 23 mm. Because it is made by hand, small variations in size and shade are normal and part of its character. New wool sheds a little at first, which stops after a few weeks of gentle vacuuming without a rotating brush. Blot spills at once with a dry cloth.
