Steel blue runs through the deep pile of the Mehari 0457.6959 like water through sand. The base is warm ivory and taupe, but it is the teal and steel blue that surface across the horizontal melange and give this colourway its distinctive atmosphere, coastal without being literal, calm without being cold. A vein of dark espresso threads through at intervals, adding just enough depth to stop it reading as simply light and neutral.
It is a colourway that brings character to rooms built around natural and cool materials: poured concrete, pale oak, brushed steel and linen all find something to respond to here. In a bedroom it creates the kind of stillness that feels genuinely restful. In a living room it adds mood and softness in equal measure, working particularly well against warm white walls where the blue can do its quiet work without competition.
Made in Belgium from high-quality polyester, the Mehari 0457.6959 offers excellent colour stability, easy stain resistance and straightforward everyday care. A deep pile soft shaggy rug that delivers comfort and character without compromise.
Vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting without a beater bar to protect the long pile. Blot spills immediately without rubbing. For deeper cleaning, a professional rug cleaner is recommended.
