Count the colours in Kilim Bazaar 693 and you will lose track somewhere past a dozen. That is exactly the point.

Against a deep charcoal ground, rows of diamonds stack and interlock in magenta, mustard, teal, cobalt and coral, each one framed in cream so the whole composition reads like a hundred small windows rather than one continuous pattern. A wide patchwork border carries the same energy in miniature, diamonds within diamonds, never quite repeating. It is the most layered design in the kilim collection, and the kind of rug that gives a room something new to notice every time you look down.

This density comes entirely from the hand. Every colour change in a kilim means the weaver stopped, switched threads and started again, hundreds of times across a single piece. Kilim Bazaar 693 is woven from pure wool with no pile to flatten over time, just a tight, flat weave where the pattern lives in the yarn itself rather than sitting on top of it. Turn it over and you would barely know which side was meant to face up.

At 211 by 149 centimetres it sits comfortably as a statement piece under a coffee table or anchoring a reading corner, somewhere it can hold its own against quieter furniture rather than competing with another bold pattern in the room.

Care for it the way you would any kilim. Shake it out occasionally, vacuum on a gentle setting without the beater bar, and let it breathe outdoors now and then. Treat spills quickly and always let it dry flat.
