Belize Natural is a natural sisal rug in the warm, sandy beige of the plant fibre itself. The flat weave is crisp and pleasantly firm underfoot, and when the light falls across it you discover a fine pattern running through the structure, more texture than motif. It is the kind of surface that looks simple from the doorway and rich from up close.

Sisal feels at home where people actually walk. Lay it in an entrance with a bench and a row of hooks, under a farmhouse table, or in a modern living room with oak, linen and stone. The runner of 90 x 200 cm suits a narrow hallway, and the round versions of Ø 200 cm and Ø 245 cm sit beautifully under a round dining table.

Belize is woven in India from 100% sisal, a hard wearing plant fibre, and underfloor heating poses no difficulty for it. Every natural fibre has its own moods, so size and shade can differ slightly from piece to piece. Sisal does not like water, so keep the rug dry, blot spills at once with a dry cloth and book a specialist when it needs a deeper clean. Regular vacuuming keeps the weave fresh.
