Green Umber sits right between olive green and warm earth brown, a khaki tone that feels both natural and refined. The handwoven wool has a soft sheen that catches the light, giving the plain surface a quiet movement, like a field of dry grass at the end of summer.

This shade loves contrast with crisp white and black. Picture white armchairs, a glass and steel coffee table and dark stone tiles, or a warmer setting with walnut and leather. Because it hides everyday traces well, it suits a living or dining room that is used every day. Under a dining table for six, 250 x 350 cm keeps every chair on the rug.

Handwoven in India from wool, this rug is about 1.5 cm thick with a dense, low pile and works well with underfloor heating. As with every handmade piece, size and colour can vary slightly. In the first weeks the new wool releases some loose fibres, which settles with regular vacuuming without a rotating brush. Dab spills right away, never rub.
