Chocolate, mocha, blush and old gold, with a few strokes of charcoal and pale grey: Harlequin Zeal Taupe is an earthy take on the painted stripe. The brushstrokes are stacked like strata in a cliff face, on a ground of warm ivory that lets every colour breathe.
This is the rug for anyone who loves neutrals but finds beige alone a little sleepy. It picks up timber floors, stone walls and leather, and its touch of pink softens a room full of hard materials. A patterned armchair or a bold painting can stand on it without a quarrel.
Hand tufted in India, Zeal Taupe is made of 100% pure new wool with a 17 mm pile and a cotton and latex backing. Underfloor heating is fine, runner sizes are available, and other dimensions can be made to order. Minor variations in size and colour come with handwork, as does a little fluff in the early weeks. Vacuum on a low setting without a brush and blot spills promptly with a clean cloth.
You can see and feel our rugs in our rug shop and showroom in Willebroek, in the Antwerp region, easily accessible from Antwerp, Brussels, Mechelen and Sint-Niklaas. Delivery is free across Europe and you have 30 days to return.
