Acsento Heritage Bronze borrows its drawing from classic Persian carpets: a field of scrolling vines and flowers, framed by a border of rosettes. The colour is anything but traditional. Soft bronze and taupe on ivory, deliberately faded in places, as if the rug had been in the family for generations.
That worn elegance works in two directions. In a period house with mouldings and a marble fireplace it feels at home, and in a modern interior it adds the layer of history that new furniture lacks. Mid century wood, mustard and olive cushions and brass accents are good company.
Heritage is finely woven by machine in Belgium, with a short pile of 6 mm that shows every detail of the pattern. The yarn is 88% recycled polyester and 12% polyester, the backing anti slip latex. It is low enough to lie under a dining table and chairs and suitable for underfloor heating. Vacuum gently and treat spills by blotting with a dry cloth.
You can see and feel our rugs in our rug shop and showroom in Willebroek, in the Antwerp region, easily accessible from Antwerp, Brussels, Mechelen and Sint-Niklaas. Delivery is free across Europe and you have 30 days to return.
