Acsento Bergen is a landscape in wool. Soft fields of ivory, sand and greige flow into one another like dunes, and each field has its own texture: here a smooth cut pile, there a fine ribbed loop. You notice the difference with your hand before you see it.
It is the rug for a calm Scandinavian living room, with a linen sofa, pale wood and plenty of daylight. Because the colours are so close together, the pattern stays gentle and combines with almost anything. In a bedroom it is a soft landing for bare feet.
Bergen is hand tufted in India from New Zealand wool, prized for its softness and its clean, light colour, on a cotton backing. The pile is 20 mm high. Small variations in size and shade are part of handmade work. Vacuum with a smooth nozzle, a little more often in the first weeks while the wool sheds, and blot spills with a dry cloth.
You can see and feel our rugs in our rug shop and showroom in Willebroek, in the Antwerp region, easily accessible from Antwerp, Brussels, Mechelen and Sint-Niklaas. Delivery is free across Europe and you have 30 days to return.
