What is weaving? The artisanal weaving technique is ideal for classic, richly designed low-pile carpets, but can also be used to produce high pile carpets. Either pure wool yarns, or a combination with additional fibres or yarns is used. By incorporating different yarns and varying the pile heights, a rich variety of textures is achieved: from ultra-fine, thin yarns to extremely thick yarns, from a dense and tailored finish to a more uneven en 'open' surface.
